
Aftercare for eyebrows
It is necessary to follow all aftercare advice given for optimum healed results.
It can take up to 4 weeks for the skin to fully renew itself in order to see the final result of each treatment.
Daily aftercare to follow for 7-10 days or until healed
​
- Boil water and let cool in a clean bowl. With clean hands, moisten cotton pads with the cooled down water then GENTLY and CAREFULLY pat over the eyebrow area a few times to clean and refresh. Gently blot away excess water with clean facial tissue straight away. Do this twice a day, morning and evening until healed.

- You can apply a very small amount of ointment to the eyebrows with clean fingers after cleaning the eyebrows but only if the area becomes itchy or dry. If it isn't itchy or dry then you don't need to used the ointment.
​
- Avoid direct water contact to the eyebrow area while washing your face, showering or washing your hair. If your eyebrows accidentally becomes wet, pat dry with clean facial tissue immediately.
​
- Try to avoid touching your eyebrows and keep hair away from the face to avoid the possibility of infection. Avoid sleeping on your front.
​
- No exercise, sweating can dilute the pigment.
​
- No makeup or facial creams should be applied on or close to the eyebrows.
​
- Some itching and scabbing is normal. DO NOT PICK, PEEL OR RUB. Allow the scabs to flake away by itself.
​
- Do not expose your enhancement to direct sun, tanning treatment, jacuzzis, saunas/steam rooms, salt water, chlorinated pools and direct water sprays.
​

Long term care
​
- Use a high factor sunscreen once healed. Sun exposure will encourage faster fading.
​
- Please inform the national blood service if you donate blood as you may not be eligible to give blood for a year post treatment.

Aftercare for lips
It is necessary to follow all aftercare advice given for optimum healed results.
It can take up to 4 weeks for the skin to fully renew itself in order to see the final result of each treatment.
Daily aftercare to follow 5 - 7 days or until healed
​
- Do not pick, itch or scratch the lips while healing.
​
- On the second day, rinse lips quickly and gently with lukewarm water, blot dry with tissue or clean towel before applying a thin layer of provided aftercare ointment to the lips with cotton buds or clean fingers. Do this 1-2 times a day from day 2.
​
- Avoid facial cleansers/facial products that contain active ingredients which can cause irritation.
- Avoid spicy, hot and salty food as this can cause added irritation and will affect the healed result. You can rinse lips gently and quickly with lukewarm water before blotting dry after eating.
- You can apply thick layer of Vaseline on the lips before brushing your teeth. Make sure you carefully remove the vaseline straight after by gently blotting away on tissue.

- Do not expose your lips to direct sunlight, tanning treatments, jacuzzis, saunas, salt water, chlorinated pools and direct shower sprays.
​
- If you have a history of cold sores (herpes simplex) it is important to continue the application of antival cream (Zovirax) for up to 7 days after treatment to minimise outbreak.
​
- No makeup to be applied on or around the lip area while healing.
​
Long term care
​
-Apply sunscreen on lips once healed. Sun exposure to the enhancement can encourage fading.

-Please inform the national blood service if you donate blood, as you may not be eligible to give blood for a year post application.

-Avoid getting eyes wet for 48 hours after treatment.

-Avoid eye makeup or eye cream while healing.
​
-Some itching is normal. DO NOT PICK, PEEL OR RUB. Allow to flake away by itself.

-Do not expose your enhancement to direct sunlight, tanning treatments, jacuzzis, saunas, salt water, chlorinated pools and direct shower sprays.
